The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday conducted a raid at the residence of a retired official from the R&B Department in Jammu.
According to official sources, the search was carried out following allegations of disproportionate assets accumulated by the retired officer during his tenure. ACB sleuths reportedly seized several documents and other materials suspected to be linked to unaccounted wealth.
The operation was conducted under proper legal authorization, and further scrutiny of the recovered documents is underway to ascertain the extent of financial irregularities.
Sources added that the ACB may summon the official for questioning once the initial verification of seized materials is completed.
