In a major overnight action, Jammu and Kashmir Police demolished the house of Dr. Umar Nabi Bhat, the alleged mastermind behind the 10/11 car bombing incident in Delhi. The operation was carried out at his native village in Pulwama.
According to officials, the structure was brought down using controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) after the area was secured. Police teams, along with special units, conducted the demolition as part of ongoing investigations into the case.
Dr. Umar Nabi Bhat is accused of orchestrating the car bomb attack in Delhi and has been under the scanner of national security agencies. Authorities stated that the demolition was executed following due procedures and was necessary due to the gravity of the charges.
Security has been heightened in the area, and further investigations are underway.
