Samba: November 27, 2025: As part of series of Constitution Day celebration programmes, Samba Police today observed constitution day at Gujjar Basti Sarore Adda in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana which witnessed enthusiastic participation of persons from all walks of life from the nearby areas including Gujjar Basti Sarore Adda and Balole Khad Bari Brahmana.
To began with, Constitution Day Pledge was administered to all participants, commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of India and reaffirming the collective commitment to uphold its values.
Addressing the participants, SSP Samba emphasized that the Constitution of India is not merely a framework for governance but also guarantees Fundamental Rights to every citizen. At the same time, it outlines Fundamental Duties, which remind citizens of their responsibility towards the nation and society. He highlighted the significance of constitutional principles and encouraged the gathering to work together towards strengthening democracy, national unity, and harmony.
On the occasion, SSP assured the participants about the commitment of Samba Police to its fight against the crime and to provide safe and secure environment to the law-abiding people. He warned strict action against the people indulging in drug trafficking, bovine smuggling and other criminal activities. Besides this, SSP appealed the participants to assist the Police in its efforts to weed out the menace of drug abuse from society and inform about any suspicious movement in their areas. The identity of the informer shall be kept secret.
On the occasion, Addl. SP Samba, SDPO Bari Brahmana, SDPO Vijaypur, SHO PS Bari Brahmana and other police officers were also present.
